Stephen (Steve) Metter is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MW Group, Ltd. and MW Commercial Realty Inc. As CEO, Steve supports company leadership in governing the equity participation program, setting corporate and investment strategy, structuring debt and equity solutions, and ensuring operational excellence. Steve started his career in New York City as an investment banker.
Steve has been an active member with many charitable and professional organizations. Currently, he sits on the boards of Child & Family Service, Hawaiian Humane Society, and as a Trustee for Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). In the past Steve sat on the board of the Fort Street Improvement District, the Institute for Family Enrichment, Hawai’i State Art Museum, Hawai’i Theatre, and McDonald’s Advisory Board. Steve has been a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) for over 25 years and is also active in the World Presidents' Organization (WPO). Steve attended the University of California, Berkeley, and has been a leader in the Hawai’i business and development community for over three decades.
Michael (Mike) Wood is the Co-Founder of MW Group and currently serves as Principal and Emeritus for the company. Prior to stepping back from day-to-day leadership, his attention was primarily focused on business strategy, marketing, and operations for Hawaiʻi Self Storage.
Mike is involved in various organizations within the community, including: The Outrigger Canoe Club, The University of California Bear Backers, Cal Club Hawaii, and The University of Hawaii Na Koa Football Club. He also sits on the Board of Trustees for Mid-Pacific Institute and Family Programs Hawaii (FPH). In 2009, Mike and his family partnered with FOH and The State of Hawaii to build Ho'omalu O Na Kamali'i, a home for displaced children. He continues to support the long term funding of this shelter. Mike received his formal education from the University of California, Berkeley.
Daniel Cody is the Chief Investment Officer for MW Group and is responsible for all company investments and development projects. In addition, he plays a key role in corporate strategic planning and provides executive oversight of the Plaza Assisted Living platform. Prior to joining the MW Group in 2005, Daniel worked in the development industry in Seattle, San Diego, and Jakarta.
Daniel has been active with numerous real estate associations and charitable organizations throughout his career. He currently serves on the boards of YMCA of Honolulu, NAIOP Hawaii and Koolau Ballrooms. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Brian Wong is the Chief Operating Officer of MW Group where he is responsible for corporate management and policy making, along with overseeing leasing and property management for the company. Prior to joining the team at MW Group in 2003, he was the Development Manager for McDonald’s Corporation.
Brian is an active member in several real-estate organizations, including the CCIM Institute, NAIOP, Urban Land Institute, and International Council of Shopping Centers. He has been involved with numerous community organizations and most recently served as a board member for Make-A-Wish Hawaii. Brian received his Bachelors of Arts from Occidental College and an MBA from the University of Hawaii.
Colby Kisaba is the Chief Financial Officer at MW Group. He is responsible for all financial and accounting functions at the company and plays a key role corporate oversight. Colby has been a part of the team at MW Group since 2001.
In the community, Colby takes an active role in several organizations. He is a member of the Community Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association of Hawaii and was the 2013-2014 President Elect of Financial Executives International, Hawaii Chapter. Colby graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration.
Michelle Kaneshiro is the Director of Finance for MW Group where she is a leader in corporate governance and policy and oversees all insurance and tax strategies across MW Group’s numerous platforms. In addition, she is the Chief Financial Officer of The Plaza Assisted Living where she is responsible for all the financial and accounting functions. Prior to joining the team at MW Group, Michelle worked at Price Water House Coppers, LLP in Seattle, Washington.
In the community, she is active with a number of community organizations including GIFT Foundation of Hawaii, Hawaii Society of CPAs, and Make-A-Wish Hawaii. Michelle holds a Masters of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington. Michelle is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Noelle Catalan Kim is the Corporate Counsel for MW Group where she is responsible for all legal matters impacting the company’s diverse business. Prior to joining MW Group, Noelle worked in private practice at a full-service law firm in Honolulu and in Corporate Compliance as the Privacy Officer for one of Hawaii’s largest financial institutions.
Noelle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from the William S. Richardson School of Law, where she served as the Executive and Managing Editor of the University of Hawaii Law Review.
Greg Wood is the Vice President and General Manager of the Oahu Property and Leasing Division. Greg oversees the leasing, property management, and tenant relations for all of the company's retail, office and industrial properties on Oahu. Prior to joining MW Group in 2001, Greg worked in advertising in San Francisco, CA.
Greg currently serves as a Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii and is the Trustee for the Wood Family Trust which supports Ho'omalu o Na Kamali'I, a safe house for abused and neglected children. Greg graduated from University of the Pacific in 1994.
Evelyn Long is the General Manager of the Maui Division. Evelyn is responsible for overseeing all operations, management, leasing, marketing, and tenant relations for MW Group’s properties on Maui. Prior to joining MW Group in 2000, Evelyn had a successful career in the retail & hospitality industries.
Evelyn is involved in several organizations in the community. She has served on the boards of: Kihei Wailea Lions Club, Kihei Town Party (as Vice President), and the Commercial Round Table of Maui (as Vice President and President). Evelyn has also been active in the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, Maui Chamber of Commerce, UH Rainbow Wahine Booster Club, and has devoted her time to raising money for the betterment of youth, elderly, and those in need. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Colin Yokoyama is a Construction and Asset Manager for MW Group. He works both on the development and asset management sides of the company.
He is the project manager for the development company. He helps with due diligence, entitlements, and permitting. He also administers the construction draw process. He manages three (3) of the company owned properties, as well as represents three (3) other owners’ properties. Colin is the Principal Broker for MW Commercial Realty, Inc. and helps run MW Building Systems and Banzai Moving Services. Colin is the longest tenured team member and has been with the company since 1992.
Colin is the President of his Condominium Association at NS Streamside I. Colin graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate Business.

Sara Sing is the Executive Assistant at MW Group. She is responsible for the administrative and human resources functions at the company as well as providing support to the Chief Executive Officer. Sara has been a part of the team at MW Group since 2000.
In the community, Sara acts as the Treasurer for Girl Scouts Troop 200. She was born and raised in Sweden. Sara began her university studies at Universidad del Pais Vasco and later graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Spanish.
